Lawyer's Pen Relic Tutorial - Black Ops 7 Zombies
Loot-looking Mimic props can appear around the map. Approaching one can wake it up and turn a simple pickup check into a Mimic fight.
Map: Ashes of the Damned | Tier: Grim | Difficulty: Easy
Cursed requirement: Cursed Mode required; no Cursed Tier required.
Portal: Barnhouse south side, beside the left door.
Save note: Unsafe after candle progress begins.
Unlock steps
- Reach round 20.
- Light the Lost Cabins candle inside the ruined fog cabin.
- Light the Farm House candle at Vandorn Farm.
- Light the Ashwood candle on the shelf next to Juggernog.
- Enter the Barnhouse portal after all three candles are lit.
Trial rules and prep
Four Shock Mimic waves. Waves 1 and 3 are progress waves, while waves 2 and 4 ask you to burn down Mimic HVTs. Doppelghasts can join the HVT zombie waves, so do not tunnel only on the Mimic.
- Molotovs and Napalm Burst are the safest candle tools because they light candles without forcing a special weapon setup.
- The candles can be lit in any order. Keep one or two zombies alive so you can move cleanly between regions without the round flipping.
- Avoid throwing equipment directly into Mimic shock bursts because the burst can erase equipment before it does useful work.
- Brain Rot is the cleanest ammo mod here because Mimics are weak to it and turned zombies help control the cramped waves.
- A medium-range Pack-a-Punched bullet weapon is enough; save explosives or scorestreaks for emergency HVT zombie pressure.
