Portal: Zarya Cosmodrome, beneath the rocket while facing west.
Save note: Safe before round 40.
Unlock requirements
- Reach round 40.
- Kill a Zursa with a knife as the final hit and collect the wine bottle.
- Complete a legendary TEDD task and collect the second bottle near the task reward.
- Set both bottles at the Blackwater Lake wine bar, watch the burst order, then shoot the bottles in that order.
Trial rules and prep
Your essence is removed when the trial begins. Waves 1, 3, and 4 build progress; waves 2 and 5 can bring Doppelghast and Mimic HVTs.
- Watch the bottle sequence immediately after placing them.
- The second bottle can spawn near the TEDD reward rather than directly on it.
- A Pack-a-Punch III Necrofluid Gauntlet keeps the no-essence trial simple.
