Ammo crates are disabled.
Map: Ashes of the Damned | Tier: Wicked | Difficulty: Hard
Cursed requirement: Cursed Mode Tier 2 or 3 required.
Portal: Blackwater Lake, southeast wall of the south cabin.
Save note: Safe before round 60.
Unlock steps
- Reach round 60 or later, then complete the Cursed boss fight.
- Enter the Blackwater Lake portal after the Cursed boss fight completion registers.
Trial rules and prep
Explosive damage only. Waves 1, 2, 4, and 5 build progress; waves 3 and 6 can bring Doppelghast and Zursa HVTs, with Mimics possible.
- Build perks early and try to make Quick Revive permanent before the Cursed boss fight.
- Bring Kazimirs or Monkey Bombs so Tessie repairs do not collapse during heavy pressure.
- Save Aether Shroud or another escape button for the final boss phase rather than spending it early.
- PhD Flopper protection is mandatory for comfortable close-range explosive play.
- Ray Gun, Kazimirs, and War Machines are the trial core. Craft extra War Machines before entering if your economy allows it.
- Use explosives to create space first, then focus HVT zombies once the normal wave is under control.
