Cursed requirement: Cursed Mode Tier 2 or 3 required.

Portal: Blackwater Lake, inside the cabin while facing west.

Save note: Unsafe once the phone chain begins.

Unlock steps

On rounds 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60, locate a ringing phone and answer it before ending the round.
Check the Janus Towers server room, Zarya control room, Blackwater Lake tool shed, Vandorn Farm first floor, Ashwood market, Exit 115 service areas, and Lost Cabins for the ringing phone.
Enter the Blackwater Lake cabin portal after the round-60 phone is answered.

Weapon damage is reduced by half. Waves 1, 2, 4, and 5 build progress; waves 3 and 6 can bring Doppelghast and Zursa HVTs, with Mimics possible.

Hold several zombies on each phone round so you can search without accidentally moving to the next round.
Listen for the ring while using jump pads to cover distance quickly.
If the hold is taking too long, kill one zombie every few minutes so the round does not flip from despawn behavior while you search.
Wonder Weapons and War Machines still handle the reduced-damage HVT zombies well because the damage penalty is more punishing for ordinary bullet weapons.
Do not enter under-armored; the longer time-to-kill gives HVT zombies more chances to hit you.
Because augments are disabled by the relic effect, plan the trial around raw weapon strength rather than build-specific perk bonuses.
